I’m a bit of a Jack-Of-All-Trades.  I love to cook. I love to entertain. I love to build things in my wood shop and at my crafts table.  I love architecture.  I love exploring new places and new things.  And, I love turning all that passion into fun ideas that I can share with folks.

In 2004 I won a cooking and lifestyle contest on the Today Show and have since done over 500 segments on local stations in Chicago.  I have a ton of recipes that are well tested and often requested.

I’ve created this blog as a way to continue to create and share fun ideas.  I also have my Wayne’s Weekend YouTube Channel that is always growing with my “WayneBites” videos.   I hope the dialog from friends, family and other viewers, both here and on YouTube, will make the site even better.  So, jump in and take a look around.  I can’t wait to hear from you!
